from 51 reviewsIt is very difficult to find real wasabi anymore. Look at all the other labels and they are filled with horseradish and mustard oil. This is truly authentic 100% wasabi. You can't even get this from Japan anymore. Congratulations to Doug for developing a stupendous business and product line. Additionally, a highly reputable and honest company as well with extremely knowledgeable people.
I love this product....although it's my first time ordering, I know I'll be back! The quality and taste are outstanding, and the company is a pleasure to work with. I completely trust the integrity of the company and fully trust the quality of the products. A perfect combination!!
I’ve been eating with chopsticks daily for about 30-some years and have chewed through many. These ironwood chopsticks are so hard, I know I will not have that problem. Also, they are perfectly balanced with tips precise enough to pick up any size or shape of food.
got it...good customer followup in emails. haven't tried it yet. assuming it will be as perfect as its packaging and instructions. muahhhh!
I've had fake, horseradish-based "wasabi" before but this was so delicious and really packs a punch as it should! It went excellent with my sushi!
Mean clean eating machines. I love these things!
practical and functional
Top shelf, very fresh, recommend the shark skin grater

Yes. Mixing the sliced strips in the salad or in the fried rice tastes crisp and peppery.
Na
When I first received the powder, I was skeptical whether it was real Wasabi at all, because it just tasted like the ground-up root of a generic plant with no burn at all - which wasn't super unpleasant, but it wasn't pleasant either. I reached out to the RealWasabi team about it, and they sent me some literature about the science of Wasabi that describes a chemical reaction that needs to take place inside the Wasabi plant cells to give it that unique wasabi taste. So now I mix the powder with a little water to make a paste, then I go do something else for 20 minutes before I come back and eat it. And it is so delicious and definitely has a fiery but smooth taste. If you let it sit for 30 minutes, it's even stronger. There was a study recently demonstrating that eating Wasabi daily can increase episodic memory substantially, so I eat it primarily for the health benefits, but I've grown to really enjoy the fiery taste also. It's great stuff!
