Authentic Real Wasabi® Petiole (stem) powder is a dried form of authentic wasabi that has been processed to retain its flavor, color and bioactive properties. The freshly harvested wasabi straw-like stems are cut into pieces then flash dried before being ground into 100% purse wasabi petiole powder.

Petiole powder has a milder flavor profile than rhizome (root) powder but provides similar bioactive properties.

Petiole powder is great for soups, stir-fries, and pickled vegetables.

Use & Storage

To enjoy the full flavor experience of our authentic Real Wasabi® powders, follow these simple steps:

Mix equal amounts of powder and water, blending well to create a paste.
